Romantic Hawaii has a new offering for guests seeking a unique wedding or honeymoon venue:
The 145-foot luxury yacht, the Safari Explorer, carries just 36 guests and cruises among the islands between Maui and the Big Island.
American Safari Cruises is taking its newest yacht, the Safari Explorer, to Hawaii for inter-island cruising in the waters less traveled on an eight-day, seven-night itinerary. Cruise where big ships can't - secluded coves and bays, quaint harbors and tiny villages. The yacht travels only during the day, and will visit Molokai, Lanai, 19th-century Lahaina on Maui, the Big Island and several snorkel/dive sites.
With a maximum of 36 guests, the Safari Explorer provides the perfect platform for a wedding and honeymoon cruise with family and friends. Plus wedding ceremonies can be arranged to be performed onboard the yacht. Other options are reserving individual staterooms for a honeymoon or for smaller-group travel.
The complimentary, special romance package includes:
• Welcoming with Dom Perignon champagne on ice; a platter of chocolate-covered strawberries, fine cheeses and grapes; a rose-petal strewn bed; and two personalized keepsake pillows.
• Accommodations in one of two top-deck Commodore Suites featuring a living room with private step-out balcony, two large, flat-screen TV/DVDs, master bedroom with king bed and Tempur-pedic® memory foam mattress, refrigerator stocked with the couple's favorite beverages, and bathroom with heated tile floors and Jacuzzi tub.
• A private helicopter tour of Volcanoes National Park, and be feted at a honeymoon celebration one night at dinner.
• First choice of complimentary massage appointments, and preferred wines will be stocked in the yacht's Wine Library.
The honeymoon package is $7,395 per person (regular pricing) and includes from-yacht activities, shore excursions, private transfers and complimentary premium spirits and fine wines. Guest-crew ratio is 2-to-1.
Like other American Safari Cruises yachts, the Safari Explorer offers an upper deck hot tub, sauna and exercise equipment. Each yacht also carries snorkel equipment, wet suits, double sea kayaks, motorized shore boats for coastal exploration and water skiing, laser sailboats and mountain bikes.
