In Alaska's Inside Passage our sleek and nimble size yachts bring our guests closer to glaciers, bears, whales, remote forested islands, unnamed coves, unsung vistas and passages less traveled. An exclusive to American Safari cruises is an extended two days of exploration in Glacier Bay National Park. Park restrictions only allow up to 12 people at a time kayak, or hike into the pristine forest or walk on centuries old glacial ice with the park ranger and onboard naturalist. In Mexico's Sea of Cortés, guests experience exceptional views of nature’s marvels such as blue, gray, humpback, pilot, fin & orca whales in one of the world’s richest marine environments. Guests experience compelling cultures, nature and history that the Pacific Northwest embodies on her waterways.
Each itinerary is flexible, providing opportunities to maximize wildlife viewing or other spontaneous adventure that only is accessible to our small group. We anchor each night, ensuring that nothing is missed along the way. From the moment you step aboard the yacht until you departure, a professional crew with a ratio of 1:2 guests handles all the details to ensure you experience the yachting voyage of a lifetime.
Our yachts cruise during daylight hours only, maximizing the opportunity to experience the destination and to view wildlife. Each all-inclusive yacht cruise or yacht charter features a professional Expedition Leader/Naturalist and local guides that provide educational lectures and narration on the destinations as well as arrange behind-the-scenes visits, shore excursions and guided hikes.
Accommodations are elegant in a casual atmosphere. The staterooms feature TV/DVD players, private baths, some with Jacuzzi tubs, Tempurpedic® memory foam mattresses and heated tile bathroom floors. Our flagship yacht, the Safari Explorer, offers Commodore Suites featuring a separate sitting area and a sliding glass door overlooking a small balcony. The Safari Explorer also offers an overall spa influence with complimentary massages from an onboard masseuse, yoga classes and a sauna. All of our yachts feature an on-deck whirlpool spa.
